SOUTHERN HEALTH

Southern Health is the largest metropolitan health service
in Victoria and provides comprehensive primary, secondary
and tertiary health care services to people living in the
South-Eastern suburbs of metropolitan Melbourne.

Southern Health provides services to an area in excess
of 2,800 square kilometres with a population of over 750,000.
The primary catchment area includes the cities of Cardinia,
Casey, Greater Dandenong, Kingston and Monash. Southern
Health also provides specialist services to a rural catchment
including Gippsland.

we treated more than 125,000 patients in our hospitals,
5,000 more than the previous year, and provided in excess
