McCulloch House Palliative Care Unit: Monash Medical Centre, Clayton
McCulloch House is a sixteen bed unit that focuses on the provision of specialised acute palliative care and forms an integral part of a seamless model of care which comprises care at the following locations:

The unit consists of eight single rooms with ensuites and two spacious four-bed rooms with shared bathrooms. All rooms overlook gardens.
Multidisciplinary Team meetings and ward rounds where the patient’s current care and treatment is evaluated are held twice weekly, on going reassessment may include implementation of community supports. Patients and caregivers are encouraged to participate in decisions regarding care, and caregivers who wish may participate in the provision of physical care.
