Theatre Suite:  Monash Medical Centre - Moorabbin

The unit consists of six operating rooms over two floors. The main suite on level 2 is four operating rooms, whilst Level 3 is two operating rooms and a clinic room.  The type of surgery performed is predominantly elective surgery of the following specialties; urology, ENT, ophthalmology, general surgery, orthopaedics, faciomaxillary dental breast, gynaecology and gynaeoncology. As the unit does elective surgery the hours of operation are 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday, no weekend or public holiday work.
