Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services and Primary Partnerships

The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and Primary Partnerships Directorate comprises age related Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services and an aggregation of specialist services.

CAMHS
Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services for persons aged up to 18 years are made up of the Stepping Stones Inpatient Unit at Clayton, a number of community clinics, and a range of specialist teams and services (CAMHS website).

Primary Partnerships
Comprising a mix of specialist services, the common feature of these services is their critical interface with primary health and other non-Mental Health Program services:

Primary Mental Health
Two Primary Mental Health and Early Intervention Teams operate from Dandenong and from Clayton.
