Day Surgery Unit :  Cranbourne Integrated Care Centre (CICC)

Cranbourne Integrated Care Centre (CICC) Day Surgery Unit is a modern, well equipped theatre complex, offering a Monday to Friday service, treating over 3,300 patients per year. Day Surgery offers patients reduced waiting times and minimal disruption to their lives. Our surgical specialties include Ophthalmology, Gynaecology, Plastic and General Surgery. Ophthalmology services, including bookings, outpatient clinics and pre-admission are also provided at Cranbourne Day Surgery Unit.

The Day Surgery unit consists of two operating suites and is supported by a well-equipped sterilising services unit.  Surgical specialities include Ophthalmology, Gynaecology, Plastic and General Surgery. Ophthalmology services, includes bookings, outpatient clinics and pre-admission.  Around 60% of activity is related to Ophthalmology with Cranbourne Integrated Care unit receiving the 2005 Victorian Public Healthcare Award for innovation in patient access to elective services.
