Registration with the Nurses Board of Victoria and wish to apply for a nursing
position at Southern Health you will need to submit your curriculum vitae
and a detailed application letter outlining which clinical specialty you
are applying for and nominate two current professional referees, email to nursing@southernhealth.org.au or

Once your CV has been received and progressed to the appropriate clinical area, the Nurse Unit Manager will make contact to discuss your application further.
If you do not hold Australia permanent residency, please ensure you have addressed the Nurses Board of Victoria (www.nbv.org.au) registration criteria prior to applying. You will also need to meet the Department of Immigration and Multicultural and Indigenous Affairs’ (DIMIA) visa criteria, which can be found at their website www.dimia.gov.au
Southern Health is able to sponsor successful nursing applicants for a working Business visa sub class 457 – temporary working visa.
Once you have addressed the above steps you are able apply for a nursing position
Southern Health is a registered business sponsor for temporary business visas and is also able to support application for permanent residency via the Employer Nominated Scheme (ENS).
